DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) — High-end apartments are going up in Deerfield Township.

The community is called One Deerfield and will feature 242 units. It is the centerpiece of a larger project called The District at Deerfield. The project covers 28 acres between Mason Montgomery Road and Wilkens Boulevard.

The goal is to create a neighborhood with thriving businesses plus residential entertainment and social environments.

Work to extend an existing road has also begun.
